ABOUT ME

grab2.jpg

Over the years of my incarceration, I started to notice that more and more young men of many colors and ethnicities were coming into the federal prison system with lengthy sentences. Most of the prisoners are young, inner-city youth with non-violent drug charges. The men range in age from 18-25. They came from broken homes with no stability, no education and many are addicted to the drugs they were selling. I went through the same issues these young men are suffering when I was on the streets. These young men lost hope and courage due to their situations. I was a drug dealer and gang member, but after years of contemplation, I realised that I have a chance to turn my life around. For these reasons and many others, I am adding my two centz to the conversation. I have insight now and have created this space so I can share my ideas and suggestions about the American Criminal Justice System.
