I always understood the purpose of assault rifles. They are nothing in comparison to hand guns, except that you can conceal a pistol better than a long gun. Assault Rifles were built and designed for one purpose and one purpose only and that's to effectively kill as many people as you can quickly. The designers of assault rifles are creating killing machines, designing them to be hyper attractive to gun enthusiast.
The marketing teams of the firearm industry are advertising whole sale murder and it is here that we hold these companies accountable for murder just like we did the big pharma companies and tobacco companies etc. Freedom and rights come at a price. It is a price paid with sacrifice. A sacrifice that must be made to assure that all people are guaranteed a sure winning chance to live. We must quickly ban assault rifles, high-capacity magazines, modifying kits that make semi-automatic hand weapons' fully etc...
The gun fanatics, their pundits, talking heads. constitutionalist etc... Will paint a narrative that says "guns don't kill people, people with guns kill people, and it's their right to own guns according to the constitution.” They will do, say, and spend whatever they can to keep these awful weapons of war easily assessable and available to the public, or to those who have the right to purchase, own and carry them.
They also know that tightening the pistol grip firmer and being stricter on gun laws really means disparaging and blocking minorities from owning these unnecessary weapons, and in effect romanticizing and glamorizing owning the most sought-after assault rifles, it's components and parts.
It's all big business to say the least. The quicker our legislative bodies do the necessary work and draw up a bill to make a law to ban all assault style rifles, its components, and parts, the quicker they will make our nation and other nations safer. American arms dealers are arming poor countries and their violent criminal enterprises to the teeth with these weapons causing slaughters to exclusively be made in America.
I am not prepared mentally to live in a nation as allegedly great as America and have to fear being shot to death at a grocery store or worse my children being killed while at school. I grew up around gun violence and I witnessed the effects from it, I also was involved on both ends of the barrel so I have first-hand experience and knowledge about the devastating effects from ALL firearms. My heart and soul go out to the citizens and families Tulsa Oklahoma, Uvalde Texas, and Buffalo, New York. I pray that our Nation’s leaders do the work, make the sacrifices to make all of us safer and especially our most vulnerable citizens...our children. This is MY2CENTZ #ENDGUNVIOLENCE
